Cheryl Schultze was born and raised in Southern California and earned her Associate of Arts Degree from Long Beach City College and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication from California State University at Fullerton. During college, she passed the CBEST and began working as an instructional aide in the ABC School District. She first began working with children in junior high as a summer camp counselor and since then has always found a way to serve children and their families. Cheryl left the workplace in order to stay home full-time to raise her four children. This fall marks the beginning of her 12th year of homeschooling. Cheryl taught her children using the Institute for Excellence in Writing for 8 years and taught 4 IEW classes last year for grades 3-8 here at Terra Arts Foundation. She enjoys children of all ages and believes them to be naturally curious, honest and oh so fun! This year she will lead the Thy Small Colonials class and looks forward to serving our Terra Arts families by caring for our youngest classmates in a setting that is sensitive to their ever-changing ages and stages.
